This online freelancing service was due to resolve a disputed invoice of £400 produced by one of its freelancer. Freelancer was charging for an uncompleted job, out of time and in total discrepancy with agreements. A job that should have being done in 5 days (as in the agreement) was attempted to be delivery after more than 3 weeks later! Braking completely with the agreement. As it looks, peopleperhour.com want me to pay such unprofessional person despite the clear evidences already provided. It's not a surprise as they expect 10% of all earning from the freelancer. This is a complete scam; and it's not acceptable at all.

On the 11th July, I filled out and submitted the dispute form providing all the relevant information. As response I receive an email with this message: "We aim to respond to all enquiries within 1 working days... If your request has not been answered within 1 working days and you need an urgent answer, you can contact us on 44 203 608 1191 (Mon-Fri, 8am - 8pm UK time)" As I did not receive any answer I phone them several times and at different days to the number provided and it appeared to be a wrong number as it was a message out of context. It was not until the 23 July that they answer as a response to an email I sent them on the 18 July.in this message they apologised for the delay and said they will contact me once the Dispute Team have come to a resolution. I have to wait more than 2 weeks before they contact me but just as a result of me sending an email requesting an answer. Just to say that they concluded "... in paying the Seller £100 for work delivered for the following reasons; Full payment for Stage one not given to Seller as work is on the Sellers server." Please, what this means? So, I got to pay for something that still in the Sellers server, beside very unprofessional, and just for the fact that I look at it? That it means that now I have to pay just for looking? Well that was not the agreement.
All that is a scam. I did never agreed of paying and that was the whole reason of the dispute. I was never delivered any job! I just got to see it, and it was incomplete and out of the agreements. How can they be charging me for something so unprofessional and just for looking at it? They wasted a lot of my time; money and energy already and now they are trying to get my money. That is completely absurd. I am very disappointed for the way they handle the situation. Nevertheless I am also happy I found this website that could help me to handle this issue in a fear manner.
