I purchased a round trip flight to Venezuela from LAX with a stop over in Costa Rica on the return. When I arrived in Caracas for the return flight I was told I could not board the flight without having had a yellow fever shot in the last 10 days. TACA never mentioned that travelers from Venezuela to Costa Rica need this shot. I was stuck in Caracas (one of the world's most dangerous cities) for 6 days until I was forced to purchase a need ticket home...$800.
