I booked a flight from LA to Guatemala through a third party (vayama) costing $1762.00. The day of our departure taca's website was down and would not let us print our tickets. When we got to the airport they refused to help, made us wait in line, and we missed our flight. We scheduled the next flight out and were charged an extra $1203.00 for the change never giving us a breakdown or so much as a receipt of payment. Airlines are abusing their power and obligating customers to pay ridiculously high amounts because they know we'll be left without any options.
