I ordered a DVD (A Town Like Alice) online, 7/5. No DVD was shipped, and there were no charges to my credit card. Two weeks later I sent an email to the address provided on the company's website asking for a status update on my order. The next day, 7/26, I received a response saying "Thank you for your email concerning your order. I apologize for the delay of shipping your DVD. We experienced a back log of orders for a couple days. We have shipped the DVD now. I would expect you should receive the package soon. If you do not get the item within the next few business days, please contact us again. I will issue a refund or ship you a replacement, whichever your prefer.
I really appreciate your business.
Thank you again."
Two weeks later the only thing I have received is a spike in the number of junk emails sent to my account.
