Never Sent Item Paid For, North Carolina

On 26/08 I ordered a book titled "The Silver Creek Simmons Family: Descendants of Willis and Jane Goslin Simmons" through Ancestral Books. It had not arrived by November so I emailed them. On 11/14 they responded to my email saying they had moved to another location and were working extra hard to make sure that all orders were shipped by next week.

An email sent on 11/01 elicited the following response Your book got returned to us because somehow the shipping laber got ripped off and the book was in really bad shape as if someone drodep it in a puddle and it was all wet and I cannot send it to you like that, I am processing it again just so I can send you a new book.

An email sent to them on 29/02 resulted in them saying I apologize for the delay, we have had some hardware failure and that is why we are behind in shipping out our orders but your book has already been shipped USPS media mail, please allow up to 10 business day for delivery.

In an email received on 04/19 Ancestral Books said I did send it back USPS mail, please allow 15 to 20 days for delivery.By 05/10 still no book.

Reply from Ancestral Books on 06/05 said As you may know, I had some medical emergency that held me for a couple of weeks, and that is why I have some significant delay on some orders; to those of you who have not received your books yet, please allow me another week or two to get it to you.

On 08/23 in response to further emails sent they said I apologize for the delay which is due to hardware failure, your book has just been shipped today USPS mail, please allow until the end of the week or early next week for delivery.

At 09/25 still no book.
