I have been going to ward parkway theater with a friend for 18 years, 1 day a week. Took 2 grandsons, ages 15 and 16 last friday afternoon to see a pg13 movie. They were not allowed in without a parent or adult. New policy since Feb in 2012. Was not aware of this policy. Came from out of town with a visiting grandson from OK. To see a movie I had seen and approved for them to watch. If the theater has had problems with kids being dropped off, then they have the right to remove them from the show. This new policy is punishing good kids and is not fair for them. There is no way that a 15 and 16 yr old can not be allowed in a PG13. I have told them about their new seats and was looking forward to them enjoying the newly remodeled theater. I am totally upset about this policy. Print a large statement at the ticket counter that any child causing any problems will be asked to leave but why band others from seeing a show. This is outrageous!
