High pressure sales

I went to a kiosk at Cottonwood Mall in Albuquerque, New Mexico to purchase face creams. After sales Ivar walked me over to another kiosk stating she was going to introduce me to her friend and that he would take care of my hair and at the same time saying "he would not try to sell me anything." She introduced me to Anhel and he started fixing my hair and using a hot iron.

I thought Ivar had introduced me to Anhel because she was showing appreciation for what i had purchased from her. While he was fixing my hair he complemented me, wooed me and made feel really good, all the time telling me how to use the hot iron and he also got a litttle frustrated because I was clumsy with it. I felt so good when he was done that I would have bought anything without questioning it. I ended up buying the hot iron.

I went home, started to unpack hot iron and realized I had paid $375 for it. That's when I got sick to my stomach and realized I had been conned into purchasing something that I would not be using. I put the hot iron back in the bag and went to return it. I went back within 2 hours and was told that they had a no refund policy and it stated so on receipt. No where on the kiosk does it state that purchase is final! I'm not even sure that it does state on copy one signs "No Refunds". I think I would have noticed at least that.

I feel so stupid, I let my guard down, didnt question anything. He treated me so good I couldnt see that he would do what he did. Even the first sales person was setting me up by sayings "that he would not try to sell me anything". Because of this incident I will not longer trust anyone any more or I will be extra cautious.
