Garbage Disposal 60554 - Kenmore

This disposal was bought by me on 6/12. It has a seven year warranty. It doesn't work as of 11/23. Calling 800-4-My-Home resulted in a service call 14 days later. I only have one kitchen sink and it cannot be used until this is repaired. How can I live with that? This warranty is useless unless a repair can be done in a reasonable time frame. I am very upset.
