I have had my elderly father move in with us from scotland and called talk talk and requested a phone line put into the other part of the house as my father would have his own line to call the family anytime he wanted. They did come and install the other line and billed myself for this service when i looked at my on line account i got intouch with them staight away they said they would rectifi this and add my fathers details, which they did. But still insisted i pay both lines. After numerous calls and emails this is still not sorted, at which point i asked them to disconnect the new line we would make do with the line we have, to my surprise they disconnected both phone lines and this was another concern as we have had to have a alarm, home care emergency box put in for my father as his health was pretty bad and he pressed if he needed a ambulance, to my surprise i needed to push the panic alarm, and it did not respond this was on the 20-4 i had to call 999 from a mobile, at which point the police kept me on the line till the paramedics came to the property, at which point another 2 paramedics were called to take my father to hospital, and never returned home he passed away on the 25-6, i have since had a letter from a debt company demanding 42.37 i have phoned the collectors cause i wont give them my date of birth they wont discuss this with me. I have sent talk talk numerous emails and have telephoned about 10 times and i just get passed from piller to post, regarding this and i have had no answers to why they are charging for a service they did not provide... Properly.
