Scam from start to finish!

With RVL Moving, it ws a scam experience from start to finish. The promise of pick up date was not met, resulting in a 1 day delay of cleaning and loving out of a rented house. The date of delivery was not met by 10 days. Numerous frustrating run around calls on delivery date. Contract says the driver needs to give a 24 hour notice of delivery. He did not. The day he shows up, I am 2 hours away on business. Rush back to meet "the crew" and the driver makes me pay an additional $750 or he won't unload my stuff. My 7 year old is crying, the man is yelling, he puts some loud lady 'manager' on the speaker phone who screams and yells that they will put my stuff back in the Sacramento warehouse unless I pay the money for having the crew wait for me to get back from my out of town work. It didn't matter to her that the contract said 24 hour notice. I would not get my stuff for another month. This is extortion in it's most blatant form. I paid, they moved my items all over the street. It was embarrasing to move into a new neighborhood and they had everything laying in the cul de sac! Who does this? I filed a claim for all the items they broke. All my fishing poles, tables, chairs, lamps, etc. They have not paid me a cent on that claim. I filed in small claims court in California, but RVL could not be served papers properly because they use a PO box and do not have a physical address. I showed up to court, but they did not and there is not much I can do. This system benefits the thieves. My guess is they are parked at a truck stop and just keep roving around doing this to someone else. Do not use RVL Moving.
