Lamar Diltz
Dr. Lamar's Products Cheated out of Commission

Miscellaneous

Dr. Lamar Diltz identifies himself as a "Doctor of Nutrition." I met him in Emporia, where I noticed he had a 1988 Cadillac hearse he was trying to sell. I offered to put them on EBay and, if sold, take a 20% commission. We also discussed selling more of his warehoused items such as exercise machines and vitamins, on EBay and my other selling venues.

We discussed price. He said he wanted, at a minimum, $3500. We agreed that I would advertise it at a higher price, at least $4500, and that I would receive a 20% commission of this selling price, as long as he got at least $3500 as his share.

I placed an EBay listing for $5000 and accepted an offer for $4750 on 7/2. The buyer was supposed to send a $500 deposit to my Paypal account, an act which would verify his credibility as a buyer. I gave the buyer's phone number to Dr. Diltz, with the understanding that he would arrange pick-up or delivery, and for the transfer of the remainder of the money of the transaction.
