I paid off a secure line of credit after the 12 month period. I was told there was a discharge fee if I paid off the line of credit or sold my house before the 12 months but I waited. Now they have charged me $300.00 for the privilidge. I paid a fortune for this loan to stay afloat... There is no paperwork to justify this fee.
