On 7/22 I was given a noise citation for no reason at all. I was in my parking lot at my apartment, music was not loud at all. Residents in my complex confirmed this. The officer was extremely rude and implied I must have warrants due to bieng upset about the reason for the citation. This was obvious harassment and if not handled by ingham county I will file a lawsuit against the officer/departmentfor neglecting to serve the citizens. I have a factory stereo in a 99 oldsmobile & even at full volume there is no way my old speakers couldve been heard at that distance. The officer claims he could hear it in the building but the residents couldnt, and he also was not in the building at the time I arrived. I will be fighting this ticket and expect some form of disciplinary action to be taken on this officer for this.
