City of Los Angeles Parking Violations Bureau
Fraudulently Ticketed our car that has NEVER been in that city

We received in the mail, a parking ticket from City of Los Angeles parking violations bureau for our car that was supposedly stopped in a no stop zone in the City of Los Angeles, and they want $88. Our car has never been in that city and we contested the ticket, that the car was at least 60 miles away from that location at the time the ticket was issued and we could prove it with our employer's timeclock printout. The citation admitted they were unable to place the ticket on the car. Thats obvious if the car is not in Los Angeles.
We also pointed out that the officer who issued the ticket failed to notice the car was not a van, which is what is written on the citation. They completely disregarded the points we made in our contest, telling us the citation coincides with that provided by the Dept of Motor Vehicles, and we owe them $88.00. So we went to the DMV to see if our sedan was indeed a van by their records, and their records correctly show our car is not a van. So the parking bureau fabricated that statement. DMV also verified there were no duplicate plates in their records. There are also other inconsistencies on the ticket, such as the wrong registration renewal month.
