Cancelling a contract

On that date I brought my cat to a Branfield pet hospital in a strrip mall in No. Dade. I was very upset and I was told the best thing for my cat was to take the Optimun Wellness Plan. Being in the panic state that I was I did take it. That same day I told them I want to cancel because of the way I was treated and what they were going to do to my cat. (which were false). I gave them a letter stating the same. They said that I had to pay more because I want to cancel, so I told trm to send me a bill and I paid them for the day. Now I get a letter stating that they did not cancel me and they want me to pay for the remaining 11 months on said contract.
