Miscellaneous

In going to pay my T-Mobile for June, I realized I had an additional charge of $19.98 listed as "Premium Services" that had never appeared on any of my previous bills. I called T-Mobile and inquired and they said it was a charge from a 3rd party vendor called Mobile Plus Incorporated, yet they could not give me any more information than that as they did not know. Nothing was itemized or detailed for them to tell what exactly these "premium services" were. I said well I certainly don't know what this is and I have no "extras" on my phone so I would like to dispute this charge and have it removed. T-Mobile said they can request a refund that would appear on my next month's bill, but it is not guaranteed. I in turn say, "Well, that's ridiculous. After all, I'm paying you and not the 3rd party vendor directly so it's your issue with that vendor to resolve since I am your customer and it's you to whom I'm paying the money." I had them place a purchase blocker on my account so I don't have to worry about this scam of a charge in months to come. I also told them that if the refund does not appear on my next month's bill, I would be filing a dispute of the charge with my bank. Definitely a scam with absolutely no benefits on my phone to show for it, which is probably how they fly under the radar and are able to charge people who don't bother to look at their itemized bill and question it. - Joanna Palmer, Miami Florida
