My Husband & I were looking to purchase a home. We were contacted by the Franklin Group. They stated they could repair our credit. They would remove any negative items, increase our credit scores which would give us a better interest rate. That they would even give us a pre approval letter and finance our home when we were ready. They stated it would take 3-6 months. The start up fee was $199.00 for my husband & $100.00 for me. The monthly fee would be $100.00 for my husband & $49.00 for me. Once we started that we would be automatically approved for a $2000.00 credit limit a online company and this would be a big boost to our credit scores. The site they sent us to obtain our credit scores had a monthly monitoring fee of $14.95. Was also told that all the money we paid would go towards closing cost and down payment. If we were not 100% satisfied we could get our money back. We never received our $2000.00 credit limit from the online company. After 3 months with little to no results. I tried calling & e-mailing them several times to cancel. No one would return my calls or e-mails. The $149.00 continued to be removed from our account. My husband & I had to close our checking account and open a different one. The total cost was $1282.70
