Monthly Fee Raised From $11.47 to $29.95 Without Notice

Experian continually tries to rip you off. I would rate them with a zero out of ten! I originally signed up for $11.47 per month in 2008. On 01/24 they raised the monthly fee period without notifying me to $18.47. That is only $7.00, right? Wrong! It is a 61% increase! I had to call in to resolve it and it took multiple times as they did not follow up. I suspect they deliberately failed to credit my account for the bogus overcharges, and drop the monthly fee back to the original $11.47, hoping that that the Consumer / Customer will be is stupid & / or lazy and not follow up. It took multiple calls but I finally got my account credited and the charge reduced to the original $11.47. Today I noticed my monthly fee went up again from $11.47 to $29.95,
again without prior notification.

So let's review: They raised my monthly fee by $18.48 or by 261%! More than double! I called in again and the Service Rep
gave me some B.S. About the Promotional Rate expiring. Sure it did! I was never informed at the original signup or by email that's the original rate of $11.47 was promotional rate only. I was never told during my prior complaint calls that there was a Promotional Rate. I told the Rep to cancel ASAP and give me a full refund. What did she say? She offered to give ma partial credit. WTF! I told her I would spend hours on this talking to as many people as possible and file a complaint with the FTC. She relented and agreed to give me a full refund. Now I will have to follow through to verify that they do what the promised.
Experian does business as Credit Check Total https://www.creditchecktotal.com but they may have other web sites. Finally, they offer you credit check scores for all 3 credit reporting agencies, but upon closer examination these are just estimates
that they call Plus Scores. I just did a Refinance and I received a copy of all 3 actual scores which were much higher then what Experian provides under their site. So Experian promises actual credit scores but actually gives you B.S. Credit Score info which is unreliable. This is a scam company!
