A good friend of mine got a routing number - 124085024- and told me she used it with the red number on the back of her SSN card, to use as the account number to pay off $1,000 in bills and it worked for her and she got confirmation numbers for them all. Well we come to find out TODAY, just one day later, that the routing number is for a REAL bank - GE Capital - but that there is NO government program in place for people to get $1,000 to pay off their bills. So, now all of these payments are going to come back as bad, maybe even fraudulent, and the bills will still be owed - PLUS late or disconnect fees as well. This is very tempting - and I am looking for work now so I know - but don't fail for this. It is a scam!!!
