Agent Dan Lawson called to say he had a firm renter who needed my Wyndham points to take property for a big event he was planning. Promised check within a few weeks. Called repeatedly to see what was happening and why was delay. Dan kept coming up with excuses and said his client was being slow getting back to him. Had no idea this was a scam. I am so shocked and appalled at my naivety in being scammed and in losing money I just cannot afford. Now I find their phone number is disconnected. What recourse is there??
