Vacation Rental Agreement for property at 325 7th Avenue, Unit 256, San Diego, CA 92101 with Jel Rentals, aka Jes Rentals, aka R n J Rentals was fraudulent!!! Vacation unit was advertised on Craigs List.initial communication came via email address of miavatfry@gmail.com. Once rental agreement was executed, instructions were to wire transfer funds to April Elderkin, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114, credit card payment was not a method of payment. When I questioned why credit card payment was not acceptable did not receive a reply until after the money was received and they lied and stated that it was acceptable. No where in there communication do they state that payment by credit card is acceptable. Only wire transfers, moneygrams, western union, money orders, checks. Once money was received by April Elderkin, it was very difficult to get receipt of payment, phone # and name of person to contact and any type of normal communication associated with this type of transaction. This information was finally received and upon further investigation the telephone number is located in Maine for a R n J rentals 207-385-9383 which has complaints of scams for rentals of property that do not exist. Upon further investigation I contacted the property address in San Diego at 325 7th Avenue, Unit 256, a high rise called The Legend and spoke with the front desk and asked if there was a unit #256 at this address and he stated there was not!!!
