After all the blanket campaign advertising about the high quality of Wal-Mart black package steaks, today I bought one and took it home and cooked it. To say it was terrible is an understatement, too say it was tough, stringy and cordy is an understatement, to say your ads are lies is the ultimate understatement. It was prepared to perfection but when one can only work with what one is given, one can't make a gourmet steak out of a 4th rate cut of beef. It was terrible and you owe me $12.88 cents - I am going to return the uneaten portion - basically all of it to the local store and give them the option to make it right. If they do not, I will turn to the Better Business Bureau and Truth In Advertising. I will NEVER shop at Wal-Mart again for anything - ever!!! I will go back to buying my FRESH meat at Hy-Vee. You can go to hell along with your rotten, dried out, God knows how old steaks.
