Wal-Mart Store Brand

I would just like to know why Wal-Mart is taking away Name Brand items and stocking their own store brand. Each week I see more and more of their own brand on the shelves. I buy very few store brand items. I always liked to shop at Wal-Mart because of the large selection, but I think I am going to start getting my groceries at Kroger's now. I may have to pay a little more than I did at Wal-Mart, but at least I can get the items I want. So, Kroger's can now count on getting at least $200 a week from me. I know that's just a drop in the bucket for Wal-Mart, but it will make me happier.
