AT&T Scam

AT&T service is a big scam if you try to cancel service. We were getting signed up on service, then at the end they played a recording, saying if you go over a certain amount of usage on the internet then there would be additional charges. So, the same day we canceled the service and have been fighting it ever since. They will not cancel the service. They say they will but never do. What do we do if they just "fake" canceling the service? I have never had a company do this and everytime we call it is a big loop.
