He posted a property for rent in Fayetteville, Arkansas. A 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment for $550.00 a month with a $400 deposit. Once my son contacted him he gave him information how he was over in South Africa working with his family on an Aides project. He sent my son all of his information.in good faith my son sent him the first months rent and the deposit through Western Union. Once Waylon Abernathy received the money he contacted my son telling him that his attorney has requested him to send 3 months rent ahead of time so that Waylon could really trust him since he is so far away. I told my son no that Mr Abernathy needs to show some trust from his side and send the keys to the apartment then we will send the 3 months that they are requesting. Of course Mr Abernathy is refusing to do this... And he is refusing to send the money back... I can't believe this guy used God's name in this to scam my son and it is untelling how many other people he has scammed... We just want to get the $950 back so my son can get an apartment...
