I applied for free samples from Pure Collagen Care and shortly afterwards (15 June) they debited £59.58 from my bank account. I contacted the bank's fraud prervention team and they managed to get the payment cancelled. On 26 June they sent me a package containing their products. The invoice stated that to return merchandise a Returned Goods Authorization number must be obtained. After dozens of failed efforts to contact them by phone, I succeeded in doing so at 2 in the morning. I gave the phone clerk all the details, order number, reference number etc. She refused to give the RMA number on the grounds that she had no record of me being a customer! On 29 June two more packages arrived. I again phoned to ask for an RMA number. The phone clerk again refused. He said payment had been blocked by my credit card company. I asked if he wanted me to return the goods. He kept repeating "Discuss that with your credit card company." I feel that there will be further attempts to extort money, whether I keep the goods or return them without an RMA.
