This transaction was deducted from my account without permission. I called the number listed on the transaction and was on hold for 10 minutes before someone picked up. I spoke with a representative named Ruiz. She told me it was connected to an online loan application, and I politely advised her that I did not sign up for their services and would be filing a theft complaint with Utah police (thanks to the information provided by other scambook users!). She immediately processed my request for a refund and gave me a refund ID number. She stated that I would receive an email confirming the refund and that my bank should receive it within 5 business days. I'm still going to file a dispute with my bank after the transaction is no longer pending so that the money can be more promptly returned. This is a prime example of catching more bees with honey. I spent a little more than 14 minutes on the phone with these folks before getting the situation resolved.
