Similar to all the experiences below, I too had an unauthorized charge from MyMoneyLeaf, which caused me to overdraw my account. I called my bank who said I had to report it to MyMoneyLeaf first. I called MyMoneyLeaf that same day and after 15 minutes of waiting spoke to someone. He said his name was Lee. He first explained to me the benefits of being a member and how I would get my money back after my first loan. I said I was not interested and wanted my money back now. He said MyMoneyLeaf would refund my money in 5-7 business days and that i would get an email confirming this. I got the email which said the refund would come on 8/30. On 8/30 there was nothing so I called back. The person i spoke to said it was on its way and would appear in my account later that day. He clearly has no idea how banks work. There was nothing the next day either. I was about to give up, but decided to file a formal complaint with FTC and BBB. On 9/4 I got my refund. I also got an email from the President of BBB in Utah (where MyMoneyLeaf parent company is located, under the name Zeal Funding Services). She said that there are reporters interested in learning more about what is going on. I have not decided if I want to speak to them, but its not a bad idea. And maybe if more of us who have been scammed and robbed did that, then this company would stop its illegal practices. So for those of you still waiting for a refund, I recommend you file a formal complaint online with BBB.
