I've had wireless service through C-Link for less than 17 days. From the start, actions/responses from clicking on Links have been a wait in excess of 2 min. Working on files retrieved from Toshiba hard-drive: C memory today, I called C-Link because of the excessive wait-time. Christina hung up on me. Have no idea what she entered in 'comments' on my residential acct. About the Agent in my tech support call, prev to getting Agent KXSILV2, THAT agent took me through what I thought would be, online steps, to improve the speed of the "High-Speed" signal response and discontinue the 2 minute signal-response time. What actually occurred - A L L files from "Library": Documents section, were ERASED. ALL WEBSITES listed in the home-Page drop-down: library websites, CBS, Hulu, PBS, and at least 11 more I can't remember, WERE ALSO ERASED and remain irretrievable. C-Link calls are never observed/monitored, therefore, NEVER recorded. NO ADMINISTRATIVE/HUM RESOURCE/QA personnel call customers for follow-up. Century Link employees have no expectations to really provide 'service' of any kind for any reasonable, true resolution. There are no clauses/expectations in their employment contract and C-Link agents, are not paid to CARE. Any Agent can hang-up on a caller, claim a 'call-drop', 'call disconnect' or "Other" and remain C-Link employed. Rather than answer a question, every agent in today's episodes repeated company-provided script, ; a script they repeated, which was not point-of-call related. ANYONE listening to their call-handling at THEIR setting, ASSUMES they've got a 'difficult customer', when in fact, THAT agent is evading answering the caller's question = that agent is evading doing the job they are being paid by C-Link to do. When all scripted phrases have been spoken by the agent in that call, keeping to the agent call-time limit, bibbity-bobbity, THE CALL MYSTERIOUSLY DROPS; connection is 'lost' - oops. WHEW! The agent keeps the incoming call time to the bonus pay, stop-watch, corporate profit time-line. No questions are answered, no service is provided, agents have no idea how to answer the question because they don't care to ask appropriate questions, which would give them a description of what the customer is calling about and provide themselves with current/correct data, to have enough understanding and correctly make an attempt toward R E S O L U T I O N.
