Bios Agent
Esupport.com False reports from bios agent

Internet & Web

As reported elsewhere, Bios Agent offers free diagnosis and then returns a report showing available new bios and drivers. After collecting $30 Bios Agent claims the bios was for a different computer. Additionally, links to new drivers return "Expired Link" notices.

I would not have given Bios Agent the time of day if there hadn't been link on the Pheonix web site. Pheonix Technologies directs users with Pheonix bios (and that pretty much all of us) to esupport.com with a prominent link.

I assumed at first that Pheonix was the victim of a poor choice in support service.in looking a bit deeper I learned that Jason Raza is listed as CEO of Pheonix and as VP of sales esupport.com. Both businesses are in North Andover and I found no other Jason Razas inthe state.
