I made a quick call from a payphone at Pearson International to a long distance cell phone (it was no more than a minute) and got hit with $11.49. I called the 888 number and complained about the charge. The representative gave me 20% back. I accepted it after seeing all the postings here about them. If you get hit with this, please call and complain - at least get something credited back. Please spread this to all you know.

After this expensive lesson, I vow to carry a prepaid long distance calling card with me at all times.
