I applied to several positions "I was more than adequately qualified for" advertised by Advantage Staffing on CB and Indeed. I was called in for an interview which I scheduled on my lunch hour. I arrived 10 minutes early only to find a lack of organization and professional readiness thirty minutes later I was seen. The wait was not due to another client it was merely for them to find my information and appointment time. All of the positions I applied were discussed, as well as my expertise, skills and pay levels. A promise to keep me informed and with a since of accomplishment the interview ended positively. I was told I was the top ten of the applicant selections in the positions I was applying. I was also told they would not have any problems placing me and would contact with progress updates. DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS pass never once I have received a phone call or email, nor has anyone bothered to return my phone calls or emails. The name change from Will Staff was just a move up the alphabet. The service and help in locating jobs or evening returning simple emails or phone call inquires is still just too much for this company’s employees to do. And they say they are looking for professionals! HA Maybe they should place “real professionals” in their own positions. Perhaps then they would have greater success at matching the right employee and employer. Don’t waste your time or get your hopes up with these folks.
