I purchased a laptop for a birthday gift, and I was stupid in the way I paid for it. They told me the only way I could pay was to purchase $800 in Amazon gift certificates and give them the gift certificate number. They said this way I wouldn't have to pay tax on it! I paid in this manor, and then I went to NY thinking my laptop would be here when I got home. It wasn't here, so I tried to research following up on the order. Everything I tried to do to contact them, bounced back saying it wasn't a good website link, not a good email address, and no phone number. I paid for the Amazon gift certificate by Visa, but Visa said I got what I paid for, the certificate. I called Amazon twice, but got no where. I filed a report with the sheriff's department, and got no where with them. I know they just tossed the complaint. You are my last hope! How does this work, and what do you need from me? Thank you kindly with any help you can give me. This was a large sum of money that I couldn't afford to lose! Cynthia Dixon
