Rip-off!

Mpowers sales man sold a service to a woman who had no idea what she was getting, He sold a fractional T-1 for voice and data, and told her that the monthly bill would be $700.

Not only did he neglect to tell her that long distance applied (normally they don't for T-1 subscribers) but the technicians installed it wrong. Luckily she knew that I used to work for a local phone company.

When their tech came out I had to explain why it was wrong, and how to fix it. They wouldn't even touch her anyhting after de-marc (where they bring in service). I ahd to call 3 times to get regular lines and T lines uncrossed.

I told her she did'nt need T-1, to get rid of it, that there were cheaper alternatives, but with contract in Hand they threatened to sue. They "prorated" the first bill, it came out to over $1800. She has not had a monthly bill for under $1000

I have'nt even mentioned down time, but it is excessive and their credit for down time is laughable, and they tried to blame it on her router until I proved them wrong on that too. This company is deceptive and inept STAY AWAY
