Nothing but disappointment from Time Warner Cable - Digital cable and Roadrunne

In April I was experiencing a myriad of problems with my two DVRs. The picture would frequently "pixellate", the On Demand services were unavailable with error messages and I was constantly needing to reboot my boxes to regain bearable service (taking 10-15 minutes for each reboot).

I scheduled for a man to show up to check connections and replace the DVRs. He never showed up.

I called again a week or two later to report an outage of certain HD channels. At least this time when they scheduled an appointment the guy showed up and gave me a new DVR.
Within another week or two the internet connection to the house started sporadically cutting out for short periods of time. So due to this aggravation I called them yet again. After blaming my router as is their MO, I told them I had directly plugged the cat-5 into the modem and was still experiencing outages. We scheduled yet another appointment to check the wiring and signal strength. Once again no one showed up when expected and I had to call yet again to reschedule. Finally they sent someone who said the signal was bad and they would have to run a new "Commercial grade" cable to the house.

Since their supposed upgrading of our cable line, our internet has gone down multiple times per day for up to 4 hours at a time. It truly is a wonder that I am online and able to write this report without interruption.in trying to fix our problem, Time Warner Cable has done nothing but make it worse. So after two no-show appointments and about 10 phone calls to customer support I can only recommend that you avoid TWC at all costs and try another provider. I have already put in the call to AT&T to give them a try.
