Worst Internet EVER! Rip Off! - Direct TV scam

We signed up for Directv Cable and "high speed" Internet, what a mistake! We waited 3 weeks for the technician to arrive and install the dishes, and as he is setting it up, he warns us about how slow the internet is. We thought he was mistaken, we had gotten the fastest speed available! We should have listened to that kind and knowledgeable man, he knew what he was talking about! Now Directv says we are in a 1.5 YEAR contract for this AWFUL internet. Examples: 4 - 6 minutes to check a bank balance, 25 mins to download a 2 minute Youtube video, don't even think about uploading pictures to Facebook, etc. It is maddening! These days, it has to be a full-blown EMERGENCY for me to even consider getting on the internet at home, I now do any internet business at work. DO NOT BE FOOLED! Do not get internet with directv! It will make you crazy! And Directv, do not even try to blame this on my computer, it is a new Apple laptop and has FANTASTIC service with ANY other service.
