Miscellaneous

I check my checking account and saw the FYE BSP VIP charge for $11.99. I knew immediately that something was wrong because I haven't been to FYE for at least a month and a half. Going back over the account, I realized that I was charged twice this month, twice last month, and once the month before.
I proceeded to notify my bank only to prevent FYE from charging me in the future but, my bnak said that my report qualified as a fraud and that canceling my card was the only way to protect me. *pissed.*
After looking here on scambook I reallized what I was being charged for and I distinctly remember saying no to the store membership card/program (I always say no as a policy.)
Why then? Am I being charged by FYE for the very thing I did not want?
-sidenote - Game Stop continued to ask me for at least 3 years before I agreed to sign up for their membership card... Game Stop is the only store card I use.
I am going to FYE tomorrow to make sure that it is not an in-store credit card because I do not want my credit score to be effected.
*This could not have come at a worse time.*
Cash-Only transactions at FYE from now on. I have basically been robbed, I never even recieved a card... What a bunch of crooks!
