We received a letter with a check payable to my husband. He went to the check cashing store and they were not able to find a tracking number for the check. So we were not able to cash the check. My husband called the number on the letter to find out how he could cash in his winnings only to find that we weren't able to deposit the check in my account because he was not on the account. My husband wasn't able to open up an account at this time. So we let the check set for a few days then I decided we should do a little more research. I thought it was interesting that the check cashing place was not able to track the check... Then I started plugging the names on the check in the search engine to find the names on the check were actual places of business that had been established for many years. Then I put in the search engine "CONSUMER PROMOTION SWEEPSTKES DRAWING" and it led me to your site. I began to read the information and was relieved to satisfy my susipions. I was feeling that this is a "SCAM" bceause we have being harrassed by another SCAM artist. The MEGA MILLIONS led by a group of JAMACIANS, who have been calling our home for better than 45 days. The calls since two days ago have slowed down, the only option I have for any peace of mind suggested by the local phone company is to change our number or when they're on the other end of the line is to pick up and then hang up when I know that its them. The local telephone company called me to alert my that I did not have international calling in my package, this is how I found out it was a SCAM. The phone company told me that others had been conacted with the same situation. When I first received the call I was supicious of who would call me from Jamacia and I returned the call and thats when the my phone service provider called to bring it to my attention what i ahave been expeirencing. So this present scam I was being harassed by raised a red flag for me. This scam was from the MEGA MILLIONS SWEEPSTAKES so beware.
