Two men came to my door trying to get me to buy textbooks for children with diseases such as cancer in hospitals. One of them was very energetic and did all of the talking. The other was big and just kind of stood there and stared at me. I later assumed that he was probably there for security in case someone figured out what they were doing and got physical.

So the energetic guy claimed to need points for a trip to Europe. And when I bought books or gave him information about myself (if I had a job, where I was from, etc) he would get points towards that trip.

The whole thing seemed kind of suspicious to me, but I caved in (like an idiot) and bought one book for $40.00. Later when I read the check, I saw that it said "$55.00" so I asked him why it was more money. He said something along the lines of "literacy fee", I don't remember exactly. But again, like an idiot, I signed a check for $50 and gave him $5 in cash.

After they left, I looked up the company's name online only to find reoccurring words such as "scam" and "false advertisement". I called my bank and had them cancel all checks going to MTS Circulations. Fuck these people, fuck this "company". They should all be ashamed of themselves.
