Well... Had an insurance agent come to my home telling me importance of having disability insurance. I agreed and signed a "contract" well that was 08. I had not received a policy packet... Or policy number and it was for an ins co. Called old mutual. Finding out today they are in Africa??? Anyways was reviewing my bank statement seen the usual $101.43 deducted saw FGLIFEINSCO decided to google them to get in contact with them... A SCAM.!? So I stopped payment to these ppl. Also contacted the agent who told me to call the 1-800 number for which I did and guess what? Disconnected. So I call the agent back now he won't answer his phone. I went to the old mutual site and tried to get on it and register. All the phone numbers are for Africa. And I also called the fraud hotline listed on the site... And the woman was a foreigner who asked me for my bank acct number???! I stated to her I would not give her that information considering I got her number off the old mutual site whom this company may have scammed me. So total I am out almost $ 4,800.00 thinking I had a life insurance policy. Bastards!!
