Although I had no job, income, savings, or assets of any kind from 05/09 until 04/05 I have been unable to successfully claim Housing Benefit or Council tax benefit from Wellingborough Borough Council.

Although I supplied bank statements proving this, they have chosen to perpetually "muddy the waters" asking endless questions about my circumstances. Culminating in a failed appeal not because of my undisputed financial problems, but because of some arbitrary timescale I exceeded.

Now to cap it all, I am being asked to pay £52.36 council-tax for this period!
