This individual or cadre of individuals are posting short term / vacation rentals in the New York City area. They require you to send a deposit via Western Union (first sign of trouble) to a name / email address that is totally unrelated to their posted name. They then claim that they will meet you at the apartment upon check-in to give you the keys, etc. I contacted the leasing agents for the listed buildings and the apartments they are listing for rent do not exist. DO NOT do business with these people, you will lose your money and arrive in NY without lodging.
