Invasion of privacy, putting victims of domestic violence at risk

My complaint is regarding lookupanyone.com. This business displayed my personal information without my consent, as is the case for many others. It puts my life at peril, because years ago I had a stalker who actually ended up breaking my jaw (which I can substantiate with legal records).

Lookupanyone.com puts domestic violence victims at grave risk, displaying towns where they live and their ages making victims of abuse readily identifiable. I an afraid the man who stalked me will one day see the information they are displaying.

Lookupanyone.com has a form where you can email them questions. One such option you can pick is How I can go about removing my personal information? The only way their generic email stated they can remove your name, is to fax your drivers license over in order to verify who you are. They have made it as difficult as possible to have your information removed.

Strange they require that to remove your personal information, but not to establish and display to the world online. They state you can blot out the license number, but still require your address. I would not trust this business because they can turn around and use my drivers license to require more information.

They also stated that you can fax them a notarized letter, which I intend to do, but I do not trust them. They even stated that they can update information again unless you have your record permanently sealed at your courthouse.in short, it is there way of saying they will do this over and over again.

At the very least this business should not readily display this information via the web. Because their sole objective is to make a profit, they should least do so without putting peoples lives at risk. This could be easily done, but having the search done solely on the confines of their website.

This site is dangerous to the public. If they are permitted to function as they are doing, one day someone is going to be seriously hurt or maybe even killed. They state the following on their website: No one is notified that you are using the LookupAnyone services, including the person you are searching for.

I can provide any documentation you need, including a copy of their generic email response when I requested that my name be removed. Thank you for your time and assistance in this matter.
