I was referred by a local military vet to try a shop on holtville hwy. To see if they would have certain supplies that my son needed for the JROTC at his high school. I arrived at what looked like an old dump sight. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and reluctantly pulled up and went in side. There was an elderly man who was very helpful to begin with but soon was swearing and cussing in front of my 14 year old son telling him that the country he wanted to serve wasn't worth the dirt it sat on!!! I was appauled by this but knew we needed to get some of the uniforms that he had in his poorly stocked single-wide manufactured home. After assuring us that had aquired everything from the list I had provided him, I promptly paid the man and left. On our way home (45 min. Away) we discovered that he had in fact mixed the uniforms between Navy and Army branch uniforms, I called and explained to him what had happened and that we needed to return and swap the blouse and cover he had sold us. He explained that he doesnt do refunds and that all sales were final. I explained that I didnt want a refund but to exchange them for the proper sizes and military branch... He hung up on me and wouldnt answer when I called back or any of my phone calls there after!!! I was sold the wrong merchandise, couldnt return the blouse and cover I had bought, was hung up on and my son now knows in what proper form/c ontext to drop the "F" bomb!!! Never again!!! They are located at BKP Military Surplus Co. 580 Atkin Hill Rd Wetumpka, AL 36092-7384. (334) 672-7222 this is not the right address but I know its the right one for the owner!!! Buyers beware of this business, plus the bait and switch the old man will pull!!!
