Same as the others. They tell you that your registry is out of date with Microsoft, and I fell for it. Then they convinced me to buy the Bit Defender. On May 5th they tried again for a little more money, and I freaked out on them and called them scammers! And then they put a virus on the computer and slapped all kinds of porno on my desktop. I unplugged the computer all together, then the guy with East Indian decent called me from a re-routed local number and started to laugh and make derogutory remarks regarding the Porno. He quite enjoyed it! As a matter of fact he tried to call me again today, first from a Private Caller, then he re-routed his number to the same local number, which is of course not in service when I tried to call him back. I now have a new computer with the best anti-virus and have changed all my credit card info and passwords. And I am having my old computer dissected to see if we can find the IP address and then I will file the police report.
