I purchased an electric indoor/outdoor grill Model GGR50B on April 11th (order #102-2614505-3087452. Upon putting it together, there was no thread in the handle for attaching it to the lid. My Son promptly called to order a replacement part. After a couple of weeks of not receiving the part, my son called again and they said they didn't know what happened but the replacement didn't ship and they would promptly place our order again at not charge.
I was given a tracking number but it didn't track so I phoned again today. Now, they tell me that my Son phoned last Thursday and they only ship once a week and that's on Wednesday's (my Son wasn't told this).
I explained that we are having a family affair this weekend and I need the part by Friday. The reply was "can't do it" and the part will arrive in 7 to 10 business days.
I'm upset and feel that Amazon can take the grill back (COD) and credit my account for the purchase price or arrange for me to have a replacement so I can cook with it this weekend.
I'm anxious for a reply. Thank you.
