Victoria Mejia, sold me (for my daughter) her 2002 VW Beetle.

I sold my car to be able to buy a used car so my daughter can start her life in Los Angeles. When my sister and I made an appointment I made it very clear to Victoria that I sold my car and that it was for my daughter and that it had to be very reliable, since I am leaving the country and she won't have the $ to start paying for repairs.

The car was listed under Bluebook around $5200 but she was asking $6000.00 I told her that but she confinced me it was a very good car! Even knowing that I am a widow, was ripped off by other people, so I bought the car for $5,500.00.

A week later I was gonna drive up to Los Angeles with things for my daughters studio, but before even getting out of San Diego the engine light went on. I was devistated, went to a smog station who told me it was the catillac converter? (spelled right?) and it would cost me a few thousand $!!

I called Victoria and was very upset. She promised me to call her mechanic in Tijuana (that should have told me everything) if I had only known before, since it was too expensive to fix the car in San Diego. She promised she would take care of it; that she didn't know, that she was a good person! She never called me!

After having a flat tire and trying to get it fixed we were informed it needs a special "tire key" to unlock it. I called her, didn't answer, after calling several times her sister called me back. Not to harrass them, not to bother them, with other words F.U.!! We have been trying to get this car fixed but it is a total LEMON that she sold to us and up to now we can't even fix it. So paid $5,500.00 for a car that is unreliable to drive!!! Shame on you Victoria!!!

Now, what decent person with a little feelings would sell a car to a young girl without $ that the mom sold her own car to be able to get the daughter and even asking Victoria several times if the car was good! She said it was in perfect condiiton!!!

Shame on you Victoria and I hope that a lot of people will read this article about you!!! You had a chance many times to make good, warned you, but you didn't want to go that route!!!
