We pay our health insurance through my husband's employer. However, every time a family member goes to a doctor, we are subjected to multiple phone calls from Ingenix because they want to find a way to deny the claim. It is harassment. It takes hours to clear it up after every doctor visit. Is there a class action lawsuit anywhere that we can join? I am beyond fed up with them. I know Ingenix is contracted by United Healthcare to investigate claims, but if United Healthcare wants my information, they need to call directly. It is ridiculous that their only function is to find someone to sue so that United Healthcare doesn't pay for the service I paid for.
