Refund Ripoff

On April 6 I purchased a Windows 7 Netbook from www.Prosourcewireless.com for a total of $139. I was told that this item could create Word docs and I paid extra to upgrade it to Android so my daughter could view Power Point presentations from her professors. When I received the netbook not only was the plastic covering the screen wrinkled and bubbled, looking like the item was used, but there wasn’t even a ‘Start’ button in which to access ‘My Computer, ’ where the Word docs and Power Point feature was supposed to be. The only aps were an Android and ‘Angry Birds’ aps. I sent it back immediately, requesting a FULL refund. Since this item was falsely advertised and seemed to be used, I did not feel as though I should have to pay a 25% ‘re-stocking fee.’ I received a refund of only $86 on my debit card today, and when I called Pro Source I was told that not only was I charged a re-stocking fee (Which should have only been $34.75) but that other items like the warranty were non-refundable. I was not told this when I ordered this item by phone or I never would have ordered it. I was also told that my refund “depended on the mood of the person in billing.’ This company has over 86 complaints filed with the BBB and is obviously running a scam and using the internet to cheat people out of a lot of money as I am now out $53 for returning a falsely advertised item.
