Edgewood T. V - Chance Marketing
Edgewood T. V Chance Marketing Ripoff dishonest liars about job opening

Miscellaneous

This company puts out all over the job market that they are hiring for entry level positions. They claim the position is in market advertising and that the salary is 30,000 to 40,000. They ask that you are a college grad with at least a Bac. Degree. The position is supposed to be officed based.

I sent my resume since I had a bac. Degree. They email me back asking that I called for an interview. I called the next day which was a friday. We sat the interview up for monday. First of all my money is tight because I am just starting out. I really wanted to make a good impresstion, so I went out and brought a new outfit. I spent my whole weekend looking for the right suit. I finally found it at 24 hour kmart at 1am on monday morning. Mind you the interview was at 9:45. I come home get some sleep, get ready and go to the interview. The interview is down town where I know I am going to pay for parking. Parking cost 11 dollars up front. At least it was directly across the street. Now here where it get a little fishly.

I notice as I am parking my car that several Men in nice ties and suits are in front of the building. I suppose they are also there for the interview. I go in and to my surprize they are in the basement. On their website they claim the are chicago best, But they are in a basement. I go down the stair to a very regular office. They had rap music playing in one one of the office rooms that is unfinished, Don't get me wrong I love rap. I was the only black person their. Also the only woman. But rap music does not belong in a professional office where people are getting interviewed.

I look at all the people getting interviewed. They look like me young freshly out of collage and in need of a job. My turn comes and I am greeded by a young oriental woman. She takes me into a somewhat nice office (I think this is to throw you off). She says "You can see this is going to be a quick interview we have alot of people today". Then she asks what position did you apply for??? Now shouldn't she know. I tell her and she says well that position was filled last week, but would you be interested in sales. I say no and leave. First of all they are still advertising for this position.

The scam is they get you down there for a no pay but commision sales job. A door to door. They think because you are fresh out off college you need the job. Beware don't go!!!
